Steven Yeun quitte la production du film « Thunderbolts » des Studios Marvel.

Hollywood actor Steven Yeun is no longer attached to « Thunderbolts, » the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) title. The film, officially announced at Disney’s D23 Expo in 2022, is based on a team of Marvel anti-heroes and super-villains. According to entertainment media Deadline, Yeun left the project due to scheduling conflicts caused by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes in 2023. Yeun, known for his performances in « The Walking Dead » series and films such as « Okja, » « Minari, » and « Nope, » was cast in a key role in the Marvel Studios film in February of last year. « Thunderbolts » will feature a cast including Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The film, directed by Jake Schreier, known for « Paper Towns, » is set to be released in July 2025. In Marvel Comics, the Thunderbolts are a team of reformed villains, anti-heroes, and villains. Yeun was recently seen in the Netflix series « Beef » with Ali Wong. He will next appear in director Bong Joon Ho’s « Micky 17 » alongside Robert Pattinson and in « Love Me » with Kristen Stewart.
