James Gunn reveals more about David Corenswet’s audition for Superman: Legacy in the DC Universe.

Although it’s been a while since the latest updates on Superman: Legacy surfaced, production is set to start within the next two months. However, Gunn recently shared more information about the audition process for Superman: Legacy which also involved actors wearing old Superman costumes.

When Jeff Swope asked Gunn if Corenswet had done « a costume test in another Superman costume » similar to Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel audition, Gunn confirmed that every actor tested for the role wore a previous costume. However, Gunn explained how Corenswet faced an unexpected challenge regarding this Superman costume, as he « struggled to fit into it because it is so large. »
