When Jeff Swope asked Gunn if Corenswet had done « a costume test in another Superman costume » similar to Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel audition, Gunn confirmed that every actor tested for the role wore a previous costume. However, Gunn explained how Corenswet faced an unexpected challenge regarding this Superman costume, as he « struggled to fit into it because it is so large. »
